Introduction
Welcome to CrowdWar, a 3D crowd runner, quiz strategy, and battle action game. In CrowdWar, you guide your squad through math and trivia gates, multiply your crowd, dodge challenging track obstacles, battle enemy squads, and defeat bosses!
CrowdWar is developed and published by Zoozo Games, Gujarat, India. This Privacy Policy details our data practices, permissions, local storage, and third-party advertising integration for the game available on the Google Play Store.
Data Collection Breakdown
We respect your right to privacy and practice strict data minimization. Zoozo Games does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
What We Never Collect:
Local Progress Stored On Your Device:
CrowdWar stores your in-game achievements locally inside your smartphone's internal storage via Unity PlayerPrefs:
- Game Progress: Unlocked level index, stage scores, and completion status.
- Virtual Currency: Virtual coin balance, unlocked character skins, and lucky spin rewards.
- Preferences: Sound effects volume (SFX mute) and tactile haptic vibration toggles.
- Daily Missions: Daily login streak and task check-ins.
Advertising & Consent (Google AdMob, UMP & Mediation)
CrowdWar is completely free to play. We use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (v11.3.0) along with Google AdMob and certified mediation partners, including Unity Ads (v4.19.0), to deliver advertisements that support game maintenance, server costs, and new content creation.
Ad Formats Displayed:
- Banner Ads: Bottom adaptive banner ads displayed in non-gameplay menu views.
- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown periodically between levels or upon game retry.
- Rewarded Video Ads: Optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for valuable in-game perks (e.g. crowd revives, lucky wheel spins, and bonus coins).
GDPR / EEA & UK User Consent (Google UMP SDK v4.0.0):
To strictly comply with European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK data protection requirements, and Google Play Families & Ads Policies, CrowdWar integrates the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP SDK v4.0.0) certified under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2):
- Explicit Consent Prompt: Players located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with an interactive consent form upon first launching the game before any non-essential data processing begins.
- Player Choice: You may grant consent for personalized ads, opt for non-personalized ads, or reject advertising tracking altogether.
- Consent Verification: Ad requests are only triggered if permitted by UMP consent rules (
ConsentInformation.CanRequestAds()). - Revisiting & Revoking Consent: You can modify or withdraw your privacy and consent choices at any time directly inside the game by navigating to the Settings dialog from the main screen and selecting the Privacy Options / Privacy Policy button.
Mediation Partners (Unity Ads):
In addition to Google AdMob, advertisements may be mediated through Unity Ads Mediation (com.unity3d.ads:unity-ads). Mediated network partners respect the exact same Google UMP consent signals and utilize device identifiers solely in accordance with your explicit consent preferences.
Data Processed for Advertising:
| Data Element | Purpose | Classification |
|---|---|---|
| Google Advertising ID (GAID) | Ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud mitigation, performance attribution | Device Identifier |
| Consent Preferences (TCF String) | Storing and propagating GDPR/EEA player consent choices via UMP | Consent Record |
| IP Address (Coarse Country Level) | General geographic ad routing & fraud detection (no precise GPS) | Network Data |
| Ad Interactions & Diagnostics | Measuring ad performance, impressions, and app stability | Analytics |
• Google AdMob & UMP: policies.google.com/privacy & Google EU User Consent Policy
• Unity Ads: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
Analytics & Performance (Google Firebase)
To ensure game stability, balance track difficulty, and improve player experience, CrowdWar integrates Google Analytics for Firebase (provided by Google LLC). Firebase Analytics helps us understand game performance and player progression trends in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable manner.
What Firebase Analytics Measures:
- Game Lifecycle & App Launches: Automatically records first opens (
first_open), daily app launches (app_open), and gameplay session durations to understand player engagement. - Level Progression & Difficulty Balancing: Tracks level starts (
level_start), stage completions (level_complete), and level defeats (level_fail) alongside completion time and squad count to optimize game pacing and gate math difficulty. - Feature & Economy Engagement: Monitors interactions with bonus rewards, coin collection, and optional rewarded ad view events to ensure fair virtual economy balancing.
- Stability & Diagnostic Telemetry: Detects frame drops, application pauses, and uncaught exceptions across diverse Android device configurations.
Data Processed by Google Firebase Analytics:
| Data Element | Purpose | Classification |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase App Instance ID | Randomly assigned pseudonymous string to compute unique installation counts without identifying individual users | Pseudonymous Identifier |
| In-Game Event Telemetry | Tracking level completions, stage progression, and reward interactions for difficulty balancing | App Activity / Gameplay |
| Device & Hardware Specs | Device manufacturer, screen resolution, RAM, and Android OS version to optimize rendering | Hardware Telemetry |
| Country / Approximate Region | Aggregated geographic metrics derived from IP address (exact GPS is never accessed or stored) | Coarse Location |
Device Permissions
CrowdWar requests only minimal, non-sensitive Android permissions necessary for advertisement delivery, analytics telemetry, and tactile feedback:
Allows the app to connect securely to Google AdMob (for ads) and Google Firebase (for anonymous game analytics and crash telemetry).
Allows the app to check whether an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection is present before requesting ads or transmitting diagnostic logs.
Used exclusively for momentary tactile haptic feedback during gameplay (such as colliding with obstacles, running through multiplier gates, or claiming rewards). Does not operate in the background and can be silenced anytime via the in-game Sound/Haptics toggle.
Unity Engine Telemetry
CrowdWar is built using the Unity Engine (Universal Render Pipeline). Unity may collect anonymous diagnostic and hardware data (such as GPU model, operating system version, and screen resolution) to optimize rendering performance, prevent frame drops, and fix potential crashes.

Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
CrowdWar is suitable for players of all ages (PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone). We take children's online privacy very seriously:
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).
- There is no user account creation, profile setup, or open chat functionality in the game.
- AdMob and Firebase Analytics are configured in accordance with Google Play Families Policy guidelines (no behavioral profiling or targeted advertising for children).
